PlaceInn
Pilot target: Q4 2026
Milan · Navigli · Isola · Porta Garibaldi · Porta Venezia

Every night leaves takings. It doesn't leave data.

PlaceInn turns every verified check-in into a readable picture of what the people coming in are looking for — and tells the venue what to do with it.

Two sides that can't see each other

If you run a venue

You have no picture of what the crowd coming in is looking for — only presences to count.

You don't know why Tuesday is empty and Friday is full.

You buy visibility with an ad budget instead of earning it with quality.

If you're looking for somewhere to go

You get the same recommendations as everyone else.

You don't find discovery built on your own tastes — food, drink, music, atmosphere.

You have no reason to trust rankings where whoever pays sits on top.

Platforms serve one side or the other. PlaceInn holds both together: the venue gets a picture to decide on, people get places that match their tastes.

A loop that feeds itself

The model only works if both sides get value out of the same check-in. That is what holds the system together.

1

The profile

The user says what they like: cuisines, drinks, hobbies, interests. The AI learns their real preferences, not the average.

2

Discovery

The recommendation arrives in context and in real time: “Cocktail bar with live jazz, 800 metres away, open now.”

3

The verified check-in

The user generates a QR code, the venue scans it. The check-in is verified by the venue: more reliable data than a self-declared presence.

4

The picture at the venue

Check-ins add up into an aggregate picture: not just how many people came in, but what that crowd is looking for.

5

The AI suggests

Example of an AI suggestion

“There's a group interested in art within your radius. Try a gallery night on Friday.”

Proactive intelligence, not a report to read a month later.

6

Visibility grows

More recent activity, more visibility in the ranking. More visibility, more people coming in.

The loop starts again at step 2 — with more data than before.

What this asks of your team

Who scans, and with what?

Anyone on your PlaceInn Business account, with the phone they already carry. No scanner, no tablet, no change to your till. The customer brings the code on their own phone. Your staff see a name, a photo and a pass/fail check. Nothing else.

How much of your staff's time does it take?

A check-in is two taps, nothing to type. A discount adds one thing to type, the bill total, at the moment you're handling the bill anyway. We'll publish measured times from pilot venues.

And on a packed Friday night?

Customers create their code before they reach you; your staff only scan. Several people can scan at once. A code works exactly once, so a double tap in the rush can't count a visit twice.

You've seen the mechanism. The rest we tell you in person.

Why this mechanism is different

Verified presence, not reviews

The check-in goes through a QR scanned by the venue. It counts for more than an opinion anyone can write.

Visibility you earn

A small venue can outrank a chain, if people genuinely go there.

AI that looks ahead

We don't tell you what happened last month. We tell you what to do next Friday.

One check-in, two sides

People reach discounts and events only through a verified check-in: the same action that gives the venue its picture. Neither side works without the other.
